Creeping In
Willie, David, Carolyn and I visited this particular swamp because we knew it would be further along in its fall colors. In fact, most of the trees here had already lost all of its leaves, turning it into a somewhat "ghost village". This patch of trees, though, still had a few trees with some red leaves.
I liked how there was a combination of things going on in this photo. It was a calm evening and the water was still, turning into a mirror, reflecting the tree trunks. Meanwhile a patch of green algae started creeping into the trees. And the trees themselves are a mixture of red leaves and no leaves.
