Kirkjufellfoss

Sunset over Kirkjufellfoss and Kirkjufell Mountain Grundarfjörður, Iceland I witnessed a beautiful sunset over Kirkjufell Mountain a few minutes earlier. I was so excited about how stunning it was that I almost forgot to move around and follow the light as it adapted and then faded. Kirkjufell is probably the most popular photography spots in Iceland and it's easy to see why. Most people photograph it from the left here, in fact, you can see Andy still setup way up at the top left. Instead I chose to head around and get a nice photo of the falls while the light was still nice. Nikon D800 w/Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8: 17mm, f/14, 1.3 sec, ISO 100
