Storms a'comin'
Seastacks at Vik Beach Vik, Iceland After not getting much sleep due to photographing the aurora all night, Rebecca and I napped for a few hours and then we all hit the road. The aurora forecast wasn't strong but we had hopes that it might come out for a bit, so we stopped at Skogafoss and spent the night in the parking lot at the waterfall. On the way we stopped in Vik for some food and to visit Vik Beach and its Black Sand Beach. Sunset was interesting: it was filled with big puffy dramatic clouds! They lit up with some nice color too.
